BLISS Line dance competition Registration

Line dance competitions are a great way to show off your unique moves, demonstrate your skills, earn helpful feedback from the judges, increase your dancing confidence, meet a lot of wonderful dancers, and have fun!! Not to mention, an opportunity to win a unique belt buckle along with other prizes! We will have 3 divisions: Rhinestone Division (for competitors ages 40 and up), Beginner/Improver Division, and Intermediate/Advanced Division. A Full House, Royal Flush, or High Roller Pass is required for competition entry. Entry is $20. There are NO refunds or transfers of competition entries.

Placement Guidelines:

Select the division that you think most accurately represents your dance skill placement. You may not compete in both the Beginner/Improver Division and the Intermediate/Advanced Division; you must choose one or the other. However, if you are eligible for the Rhinestone Division, you may select the Rhinestone Division and one additional Division if you’d like.

The Beginner/Improver Division will be comprised of beginner- and improver-level line dances. This division is typically for more novice dancers with minimal training — either you are a newer dancer or you haven’t competed much before, or you have competed but without making regular top placements/finals, or you do not consistently partake in intermediate/advanced dances, or perhaps you simply don’t consider your dancing to be at the intermediate/advanced level yet.

The Intermediate/Advanced Division will be comprised of intermediate- , advanced- , and/or phrased-level line dances. This division is typically for more advanced dancers with some training — either you have placed consistently in competitions/have made finals, you regularly take lessons or workshops to improve your skills, or perhaps you simply consider your dancing to be at this level.

The Rhinestone Division will be comprised of beginner- and improver-level line dances. This division is for competitors of all levels who meet the minimum age requirement: competitors must be at least 40 years old on the date of the competition to compete in this division (August 13, 2026). Competitors who choose to compete in the Rhinestone division are also allowed to compete in one more division (either Beginner/Improver OR Intermediate/Advanced) if so desired. You do NOT have to compete in this division even if you meet the minimum age requirement! It is just an additional division you can choose from.

Each competition will have multiple rounds in which a panel of judges will determine the competitors who place into subsequent rounds. Each competitor will receive personalized feedback in order to support every competitors’ line dancing journeys and improve their skills and competitive qualities.

Each Division is co-ed, and the winner of each Division will earn a Belt Buckle! There will be additional prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for each Division.

A Full House, Royal Flush, or High Roller pass is required for competition entry. There are NO refunds or transfers of competition entries.

Each competitor must purchase their own pass; please do not purchase a pass for another competitor.
